Terms of Use
These terms apply to the public website, the sample demo, the Early Access list, and the Android closed-test app.
1. Who we are
Skill4Handel is a skill-exchange service launching first in the Netherlands. Contact: info@skill4handel.com. A registered company name will be published when the legal entity is registered.
2. What the service is
The website explains the concept. The demo shows sample profiles, not live members. The Android app is in closed testing. iOS and the web app are not public yet.
In the closed-test app, members can create a profile, list skills they offer, search, chat, send an exchange offer, accept, reject or counter an offer, mark an exchange as done, leave a review, and open a support ticket.
3. Early Access and Tokens
Early Users who join before access opens receive 5 Tokens when their access is activated. Eligibility is one completed registration per email address. Sending the form again does not add Tokens.
S4H Tokens are a closed-loop in-app credit. They are used when a direct skill-for-skill exchange is not possible, or when the agreed value of the skills is not equal. They are not money, not electronic money, and not a crypto-asset. They have no cash-out value. They cannot be withdrawn, sold outside the app, or transferred freely outside an exchange handled by the platform.
Blockchain is not active in the current product. If added later, it will be used only as a verification record of completed exchanges, not as a tradable coin.
4. Exchange types
A member may offer a skill for a skill, a skill plus S4H credits, S4H credits only, or voluntary help with no skill and no credits requested in return. Voluntary help is part of the product model. It does not remove the safety rules.
5. Your responsibility
Each member remains responsible for the skill they offer and for checking what they receive. Skill4Handel is an intermediary, not the provider of the skill. Meet in a public place for a first meeting. Do not send money. Do not share bank details or identity papers in chat.
6. Age
The waitlist and the product are intended for people aged 18 or over.
7. Liability
The website, demo and closed-test app are provided as available. We do not warrant that sample content is a live listing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch or EU law, including liability for intent or deliberate recklessness, or consumer rights that cannot be waived.
8. Law
Dutch law applies. Consumers may also rely on mandatory rules of their EU country of residence. Courts of the consumer’s residence may have jurisdiction under EU rules.
