Terms of Use

These terms apply to the public website, the sample demo and the Early Access list. They do not describe a live marketplace. Features that are not built yet are labelled as planned.

1. Who we are

Skill4Handel is a planned skill-exchange service for the Netherlands. Contact: info@skill4handel.com.

2. What the service is now

The website explains the concept. The demo shows sample profiles. Those profiles are examples, not real members. Joining Early Access means you leave contact details so we can invite you when Android, iOS or web access opens.

There is no live matching, no in-app chat, no downloadable store app, and no Token balance you can spend today.

3. Early Access and Tokens

Early Users who join before access opens will receive 5 Tokens when their access is activated. Eligibility is one completed registration per email address. Sending the form again does not add Tokens. Tokens are an in-product unit for exchanges where a direct skill-for-skill match is not possible. They are not money, e-money or a crypto-asset and have no cash-out value. They cannot be spent until access is activated.

4. Your responsibility later

When users can meet, each person remains responsible for the skill they offer and for checking what they receive. Skill4Handel is an intermediary, not the provider of the skill. Meet in public for a first meeting. Do not share bank details or identity papers on the site.

5. Age

The waitlist and, later, the product are intended for people aged 18 or over.

6. Liability

The website and demo are provided as available. We do not warrant that sample content is a live listing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch or EU law, including liability for intent or deliberate recklessness, or consumer rights that cannot be waived.

7. Law

Dutch law applies. Consumers may also rely on mandatory rules of their EU country of residence. Courts of the consumer’s residence may have jurisdiction under EU rules.
